German Utility Model
A German Utility Model can be filed in any language, if a translation is provided within three months. A German Utility Model can be maintained up to 10 years beginning from the filing date.
A German utility model can be branched off from an International, European or German patent application up two months after grant or up to two month after rejection or withdrawl of the application.
